On December 13, the Strategic Session of the Ukrainian Business Council took place, where the heads of business associations discussed key threats, challenges and strategic plans for the coming year.
The Strategy Session was moderated by Ruslan Kraplych, a public figure, chairman of the Board of Directors of the Princes of Ostrozki Foundation.
During the strategic session, the issue of the importance of carrying out institutional reforms was discussed – reforming the civil service as a whole, restarting the State Security Service, State Security Service, State Security Service, the importance of continuing and completing the judicial reform, simplifying business conditions, etc.

The issue of public communication of reforms in society was discussed separately. Currently, a situation has developed where negativity and populism “sell” much better than rational constructive thoughts and implemented reforms. Without any effort, populism or “betrayal”, which has no logical justification, spreads massively among the population, and this is a serious problem of our society. It is important for URB to adjust the updated communication strategy taking into account these factors, to make communication messages more oriented to the citizens of Ukraine.
The Strategic Session was held in the format of a constructive dialogue, all participants of the event expressed their opinions on the issues of the Agenda and to work out key changes in the URB Strategy in order to increase its effectiveness for 2024.
According to the results of the event, a joint Strategic Plan will be formed, according to which further activities of the URB will be coordinated.
